Person included in Interpol wanted list detained in Azerbaijan

Baku. 2 July. REPORT.AZ/ During the anti-migration campaigns organized by the State Migration Service (SMS), 4 Turkish, 1 Iranian, 1 Bangladeshi citizens and as a result of campaign held jointly with the State Security Service 7 Nepalese citizens were found (total of 13 foreigners).

Report was told in the press service of SMS. During the investigation foreigners were found guilty of violating the rules of staying and living in the territory of Azerbaijan.

Bangladeshi citizen Saiful MD Islam who became illegal migrant has been brought to the country on the promise of transfer to Islamic Republic of Iran and from there to Turkey. As a result of preventive measures attempts to organize a negative migration channel have been prevented.

At the same time, it was found out that Sokmen Sabrin, Turkish citizen was previously included in Interpol wanted list.

Foreigners detained for violating the requirements of migration law have been brought to justice and decisions have been made on them. SMS continues its activities in the fight against illegal migration.
