Online hearing of Baku court rejects to extend arrest period

Today, the Khatai district court considered a request to extend the detention period. The court held the session online, a lawyer Adam Mammadov told Report.

According to him, the accused also joined the online trial from the Baku Pre-Trial Detention Center: "Today, for the first time, I attended the online session on the extension of a preventive measure in the form of arrest. The court made a happy decision for us, rejecting the request to extend the term of the detention.

The lawyer added that his client has been under arrest for about nine months.
