Number of foreigners deported from Azerbaijan revealed

Baku. 8 September. REPORT.AZ/ Last month 2492 cases of violation of the requirements of the administrative legislation by foreigners, associated with the rules of residence, temporary or permanent residence in the territory of Azerbaijan were fixed. Report was told in the State Migration Service of Azerbaijan.

According to information, 21 of them received new documents, allowing temporary or permanent residence in the territory of Azerbaijan, instead of lost, against 149 persons was applied the penalty and legalized their residence in the territory of the country, 1844 foreigners ordered to leave the country within 48 hours, in regard with 478 people decided to expel them outside the country in administrative order.

In general, within a month the State Migration Service received 9017 applications from foreigners and persons without citizenship related with the extension of stay in the country, issuance of a permit for temporary or permanent residence, receiving, failure, restoration of citizenship, determination of citizenship and refugee status, issuance of permits for employment and extension of existing permits. Each application was investigated separately in accordance with national legislation and relevant decisions were taken.

Also, last month 75,981 complaints of foreigners were fixed regarding their residence registration.
