Baku. 21 August. REPORT.AZ/ Officers of State Border Service (SBS) have recently prevented smuggling of pyrotechnical means to Azerbaijan in the area of Shamkir Border Group's service, detained a person in the area of Goytepe Border Group's service who tried to trespass the state border towards Iran.

The SBS told Report that on August 15 two blue barrels were found on the Ehram River on the state border with Georgia. Inspection of the barrels revealed 14 XL Hotshot fireworks, 1,960 Bigtragel Crarcker pyrotechnical means, 35 X Nova, 10 Ku Fly, 20 Etel, 10 Odsen-6,700, 10 Kgtell mobile phone boxes.

On August 18 Kafafi Gasim Mahammad, 1970 was detained. He entered Azerbaijan in February, married to an Azerbaijani. He was banned to leave country due to debt to Access Bank and tried to trespass the border towards Iran. 1 Samsung mobile phone, $ 1,000, IRR 720, AZN 58, six Iranian bank cards and an Azerbaijani bank card were seized during inspection.

Investigation into the fact is underway.
