Houses belonging to Azerbaijanis flooded in Kherson

Houses belonging to Azerbaijanis have also been flooded in Kherson.

According to Report's Eastern European bureau, the houses of Musa Topuyev and Chingiz Hasanov on the left, occupied bank of the Dnieper have been flooded.

Efforts to get in touch with Topuyev, Hasanov and their family members have failed for two days. Also damaged is the house belonging to Alirza Aghayev on the right, de-occupied bank of the river.

Aghayev, together with his family members, was earlier evacuated to Europe.

The flooding was caused by the breach of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant in Ukraine as a result of explosion.

Up to 100 settlements were flooded.
