Head of Azerbaijan Mine Action Agency visiting US

A delegation led by Vugar Suleymanov, Chairman of the Management Board of the Azerbaijan Mine Action Agency (ANAMA), is visiting the United States of America, Report informs, citing the ANAMA.

The delegation includes officials from the Secretariat of the Interdepartmental Center of the Coordinating Headquarters for the Restoration and Reconstruction of the Liberated Territories and the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Azerbaijan.

Within the framework of the visit, which will take place on September 12-16, 2022, meetings will be held with several important institutions to raise awareness about the existing landmine problem in Azerbaijan, to promote the restoration of liberated areas and the return of life to these areas as the main strategic goal, and to provide possible support in this area.
