German wanted person to be extradited from Azerbaijan to Turkey

Baku. 6 June REPORT.AZ/ Today, the trial has ended according to the presentation of Ministry of Justice of Azerbaijan on extradition of Turkish citizen Kemal Abdulsalam to his country at the Baku Court on Grave Crimes.

Report informs,, the sentence was read out in the process held under the chairmanship of judge Afgan Hajiyev.

The court sentenced on extradition of Turkish citizen T. Kamal to Turkey Republic.

According to the indictment, T. Kamal is charged with drug trafficking in Germany. In 2006-2007, he financed the transportation of drugs to Germany and Netherlands.

T.Kamal was also searched by Turkey.

Previously, the Baku Court on Grave Crimes examined the request of Germany. That request was satisfied. However, during the Baku Court of Appeal the Turkish side also announced the search for T.Kamal and demanded from Azerbaijan side to extradite. For this reason, the case was returned to the first instance court.

The representative of the embassy in Turkey embassy also demanded the extradition of his citizens.
