Firefighting efforts in Azerbaijan's Siyazan district continue

Firefighting measures are ongoing to prevent the spread and extinguish a fire in the wooded area of ​​the village of Dag Gushchu, Siyazan district of Azerbaijan.

According to Report's employee seconded to Siyazan, the fire occurred in a mountainous area with a difficult terrain.

300 personnel of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, five fire vehicles, an amphibious aircraft and three helicopters were involved in extinguishing the fire.

Deputy Minister for Emergency Situations, Lieutenant-General Etibar Mirzayev arrived at the scene.
