Employee of Azerbaijani power grid operator hit by mine in Lachin

An employee of Azerishig OJSC, resident of Bilasuvar district, Mahir Abilov, 33, was injured by an anti-personnel mine while performing his duties in the Gulabird village of Lachin district, Lachin District Prosecutor's Office told Report.
The prosecutor's office inspected the scene, appointed a forensic examination and other procedural actions.
Mahir Abilov's right leg was amputated below the ankle due to the injuries he received.
The Lachin District Prosecutor's Office is investigating the case.
