Bear intrudes into residential area in Azerbaijan's Goygol district

A bear has infiltrated the yards of residential houses in the village of Toganali, Goygol District, Azerbaijan.

The alarming event has left the villagers in a state of fear and panic.

Rovshan Amiraslanoghlu, an eyewitness to the incident, recounted the harrowing experience to Report's western bureau.

"I heard a suspicious noise in the yard during the night. When I went out to check, I saw a bear that had broken through the fence and entered the house's yard," Amiraslanoghlu stated.

The eyewitness managed to capture footage of the bear, which later moved on to a neighbor's yard. This is not the first instance of bear attacks in the Goygol region.

In the past few months, bears have targeted villagers' households in other parts of the district, causing significant concern among the residents.

The villagers fear that the hungry bear might cause serious injuries if not dealt with promptly.
