Azerbaijani customs confiscates drugs from Iran to Russia

A Volvo truck carrying palm cargo from Iran to Russia in transit through Azerbaijan was stopped at the Astara customs post of the Southern Territorial Main Customs Office under the State Customs Committee (SCC), Report has learned from the State Customs Committee.

During the inspection, 1,424 drugs of different brands and cardboard boxes belonging to them were found in the secret storage areas of the truck.

An investigation has been launched.
