Azerbaijan appeals int'l organizations regarding inhumane treatment of Azerbaijani POWs by Armenians

Azerbaijan appealed to international organizations regarding the inhumane treatment of the Azerbaijani prisoners by the Armenians, Ilgar Safarov, senior assistant of the Prosecutor General, at the joint briefing of the Prosecutor General's Office and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the crimes committed against Azerbaijan by the armed forces of Armenia and illegal Armenian armed groups since 1988, Report informs.

"The Prosecutor General's Office of Azerbaijan appealed to international organizations demanding that Armenian law enforcement agencies fulfill international obligations, and conduct an open and fair investigation regarding the facts of insulting actions over the corpses of Azerbaijani military personnel killed during military operations, video footage showing inhumane treatment of captured Azerbaijani servicemen, killing and injuring of civilian Azerbaijani citizens," Ilgar Safarov said.
