A report on the evaluation of the need for digital skills in Azerbaijan is being prepared, and will be presented to partners by the end of June 2024, leading consultant of the World Bank Khalisa Shahverdiyeva said, Report informs.
She made the remark at the second annual report meeting of the Azerbaijan Rapid Technical Assistance Facility (AZTAF) financed by the European Union (EU) and managed by the World Bank (WB).
Shahverdiyeva stated that the evaluation covers individual citizens and various interested parties in Baku city and 10 communities in Barda, Sharur, Agdash, Hajigabul, Kangarli, Gakh, and Oghuz districts.
The official added that the data collection process has been finalized. The forthcoming report will present suggestions regarding the public’s accessibility to internet services, identify challenges encountered, and propose measures to enhance digital literacy among other pertinent issues.
