By the end of this year, changes will be made to the relevant legislation regarding the full digitization of birth, marriage, and death certificates and ID cards issued in Azerbaijan, the Minister of Digital Development and Transport, Rashad Nabiyev, said at the Insurtech Summit held in Baku today, Report informs.
He said that the aforementioned documents cover about 40% of the public services: "More than 250 changes will be made to the legislation in this regard. With these changes, the vast majority of transactions between the state and business, between the state and citizen, will now be transferred to electronic format."
