Implementation of EU Eastern Partnership Plan in Azerbaijan discussed

The delegation headed by the director of the European Commission's General Directorate for Neighborhood and Enlargement Negotiations Lawrence Meredith met with Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rahman Hummatov.

The meeting took place with the participation of officials of international financial institutions - European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), European Investment Bank (EIB), and European Union (EU) representations in Azerbaijan.

During the meeting, the issues related to the implementation of the EU Eastern Partnership Economic and Investment Plan (EIP) in Azerbaijan were discussed.

At the same time, the sides exchanged views on the country's participation in projects related to road and railway networks included in the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T) and the prospects of cooperation under the Eastern Partnership Investments in Connectivity (EPIC) program.
