Google search engine's share continues to decline in Azerbaijan

In October 2024, Google's search engine market share across all platforms (on computers, mobile devices, and tablets) decreased to 84.27% in Azerbaijan, 3.35 percentage points lower than in September and 6.84 percentage points lower year-on-year, Report informs, citing Statcounter.

Second-placed Yandex saw its market share increase by 3.26 percentage points during the month and 6.31 percentage points annually, reaching 13.87%

Third-placed Bing saw its market share decrease by 0.07 percentage points compared to September, while increasing by 0.25 percentage points compared to October last year, reaching 1%.

Next up on the list is Yahoo increased its market share by 0.05 percentage points compared to the previous month and by 0.14 percentage points compared to a year ago, reaching 0.46%.

DuckDuckGo, completing the top five, saw its market share increase by 0.11 percentage points compared to September and by 0.17 percentage points compared to October 2023, reaching 0.35%.
