Azerbaijan is still facing serious cyber threats, and fighting against these threats is the primary goal of the state. In order to achieve this goal, serious personnel potential must be formed in Azerbaijan. The newly-established Cyber Security Center will serve this purpose, Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport Farid Ahmadov said, Report informs.

According to him, the Center aims to train nearly 1,000 specialists in three years: “The professors of Technion University will train the specialists. The university has 3 Nobel laureates.”

As part of the visit of the Azerbaijani delegation led by the Minister of Digital Development and Transport, Rashad Nabiyev, an agreement was signed between the Electronic Security Service under the Ministry and the Technion University on June 30.
