The price of the world's leading cryptocurrency - bitcoin - has exceeded $40,000.
According to Report, the cryptocurrency has risen 7.2% in the last 24 hours and 27.3% over the previous seven days. As a result, its capitalization reached $ 748.3 billion.
Ethereum, which ranks second in terms of capitalization, rose 3.4% to $2,307 in the last day. The most considerable increase in the top ten altcoins was in XPR.
The total value of the cryptocurrency market reached $1.557 trillion.
