Bakcell company launches trial of 5G network

Baku. 6 December. REPORT.AZ/ Bakcell company made another introduction in the Bakutel 2017 international exhibition starting yesterday in Baku.

Report informs, the company displayed the trial of 5G network.

The trials are reported to be held jointly with Nokia company.

Head of Mobile Communications Operations Department of Bakcell, Samir Mahammadov said that 5G users will get the speed of 10 Gbit/s: “Today such trials are being held in over 100 countries worldwide. Starting from 2020 there will be switch to this technology globally.”

4.5G network whose trials were held by Bakcell earlier has speed of 1 Gbit/s.
