Azerbaijan to produce its first space network satellite

In a groundbreaking announcement that marks a new era for Azerbaijan's space industry, Samaddin Asadov, Chairman of the Board of Azercosmos, has revealed the country's plans to produce its first-ever satellite independently.
According to Report, speaking at a panel during the Baku Investment Day (Baku ID) festival, Asadov emphasized that this endeavor goes beyond the realm of small satellites.
"We will create a more powerful space network satellite," he declared, highlighting the scale and importance of the project.
He also said the Azerbaijan Space Agency is ready to cooperate in the direction of new ideas and initiatives.
