Azerbaijani Internet Forum: Government should provide strict measures to immediately prevent the incident

Baku. 17 November.REPORT.AZ/ Separation of the country from global world for a long term as a result of problem occurred in the internet provision in Azerbaijan yesterday, impossibility of information relations, especially problems in the fields that online connection is necessary, is a serious danger for information security of the country.

Report informs, statement of Azerbaijan Internet Forum (AIF) declares.

Certain works carried out for formation of the national information space of the country, protection of information security in recent years, steps taken for strengthening information security both in state and private sector, AIF states.

AIF appreciates measures carried out by 'Delta Telecom' LLC in recent years in order to connect Azerbaijan internet to the global world over several various main channels.

Internet outage occurred as a result of fire in 'Delta Telecom' company, providing 90% of the country with internet.
