Application of fourth industrial revolution technologies in Azerbaijan discussed

The Fourth Industrial Revolution Analysis and Coordination Center (4SIM) under the Ministry of Economy and the Digital Transformation Working Group of the German-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce (AHK) held discussions on the application of digital economy and the fourth industrial revolution (4IR) technologies in the country, Report informs, citing 4SIM.

According to the information, the head of the Working Group, Orkhan Guliyev, emphasized the importance of the digital economy field, which is one of the main components of digital transformation, in terms of strengthening the public-private sector partnership (PPP).

Fariz Jafarov, acting executive director of 4SIM, made a presentation on "The role of the fourth industrial revolution (4IR) technologies in the digital economy" and informed the participants about the activities of 4SIM, the work done in the direction of socio-economic development strategies, the application possibilities and benefits of 4IR technologies and digitalization. He also gave brief information about the effects on the future development of the world economy, including the economy of Azerbaijan.
