Additional measures to be taken to develop Internet infrastructure in Azerbaijan

The diagnostic matrix of the World Bank Group's "Convenient Business Environment" project for the "Utilities: Internet connection and Internet infrastructure" indicator and the Road Map projects for the implementation of improvements in the relevant field in Azerbaijan are under development, Report informs, citing the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport.

Detailed information on the work done on the preparation of the Road Map projects was given during the video conference of the "Internet Connection and Internet Infrastructure" Working Group of the Commission on Business Environment and International Rankings of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The meeting was chaired by the head of the Working Group, Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport, Farid Ahmadov.

Information and suggestions on additional notes received from the Secretariat of the Commission on Business Environment and International Ratings regarding the Road Map project were heard, questions were answered, and the tasks ahead were discussed.

At the end of the meeting, it was considered necessary to take additional measures to agree and approve in a short period of time the draft Road Map for the implementation of improvements in the relevant field related to the indicator "Connection to communal services: Internet connection and Internet infrastructure" of the World Bank Group's "Convenient Business Environment" project.

The head of the Working Group noted the importance of close cooperation to use the opportunities created by this platform effectively.
