Turkish professor says parents should not be afraid to vaccinate their children

Turkey has started to vaccinate children aged 12-15 in connection with the restoration of traditional education.

Report informs, citing Posta, that a professor of Ege University, Zafer Kurugol clarified the concerns about vaccination.

"In recent days, the number of pediatric patients in intensive care due to COVID-19 has been increasing. The most important weapon we have now is vaccination. Families should not be afraid to vaccinate their children. Because in many countries around the world, teenagers are already being vaccinated," he said.

He cited Cuba as an example, where coronavirus vaccination began at the age of two: "China and the UAE area vaccinating children over the age of three. That is, there is no problem."
