Coronavirus: Russia hands over tests for diagnostics to Azerbaijan

Russia has supplied test-systems for diagnosis of coronavirus to ten countries, including Azerbaijan, Report says, citing the official website of Rospotrebnadzor.

The report notes that in connection with the spread of the infection, Rospotrebnadzor has established cooperation with foreign partners to monitor the epidemic situation and provide assistance.

"Member countries of the Eurasian Economic Union, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Mongolia, DPRK, and IranMultiple received multiple test systems developed by Rospotrebnadzor. About 800 test-systems for laboratory diagnostics of the new coronavirus COVID-19 were transferred in total, which will allow specialists to conduct 80,000 studies," sources claim.

These test-systems have already helped in detecting cases in Armenia and Belarus.
