Tayyar Eyvazov: There is no scientific evidence that Delta strain causes serious diseases

"There is no scientific evidence that the Delta strain causes more severe illnesses or other dangers. The complications are just observations," said Tayyar Eyvazov, chief infectious disease specialist of the Ministry of Health, Report informs.

The expert stressed that those who received two doses and had mild symptoms do not need to be hospitalized.

"But the population should not be relaxed. We need to increase the popularity of the vaccine because vaccination is the only way out," he said.
