TABIB chairman's resignation letter accepted

Ramin Bayramli, Board Chairman of Azerbaijan's Administration of the Regional Medical Divisions (TABIB), has been relieved of his post at his own request, the State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance told Report.

By the order of the Chairman of the Board of the State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance Zaur Aliyev, Vugar Gurbanov has been given the authority to temporarily act as the Chairman of the Board of TABIB. Gurbanov is currently the head of the Agency's Medical Claims Department.

TABIB's main task is to form the activities of medical institutions according to the requirements of the compulsory health insurance system, to ensure the organization of medical services to protect the health of the population, and to take measures to improve the quality of medical services.
