Azerbaijan confirms 529 new COVID-19 cases, 7 deaths

As many as 547 people recovered from the infection today, while seven coronavirus patients lost their lives. Report informs referring to the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers 529 new cases recorded.

So far, a total of 15,640 patients have recovered from the disease, while 313 others died. The treatment of 8,617 people is underway.  Today, a total of 8,015 coronavirus tests have been conducted across the country.

On July 2, the government extended the special quarantine regime to July 20. It covers Baku, Jalilabad, Ganja, Lankaran, Masalli, Sumgayit, Yevlakh cities, and Absheron district, as well as Goranboy, Goygol, Mingachevir, Barda, Khachmaz, Samukh, Siyazan, and Sheki districts.
