Number of people vaccinated against COVID-19 announced

Some 2,340 people received their anti-coronavirus shots in Azerbaijan today, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told Report.

The number of those who got their first jab was 333 people, while 226 people got the second dose of the vaccine. As many as 1,588 people got immunized with three or more doses of a COVID vaccine. The number of booster doses after recovery was 193.

To date, 13,736,177 coronavirus vaccine jabs have been administered to the population in Azerbaijan. Of these, 5,349,659 citizens have received their first shot only, while 4,850,191 have been double jabbed.

As of today, 3,289,483 people have received a booster dose of the coronavirus vaccine in Azerbaijan.

As many as 246,844 people have got the booster dose after recovering from COVID-19.
