No monkeypox cases recorded in Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan did not register any cases of monkeypox, Tayyar Eyvazov, an infectious disease specialist at the Ministry of Health, told Report.
In response to Azerbaijan's request, the World Health Organization brought 3,000 diagnostic tests to the country and handed them over to the Center for Control of Especially Dangerous Infections of the Ministry of Health.
The number of monkeypox cases in the world has exceeded 50,000. Most cases of infection were detected in the United States.
