A little physical activity should help to cope with the consequences of coronavirus infection. Silvestro Scotti, secretary of the Italian Federation of General Practitioners (FIMMG) told, Report says, citing RIA Novosti.
According to him, out of 700 thousand infected people who are now in home isolation, at least 200 thousand are experiencing the consequences of infection.
To combat the primary syndrome - fatigue, the doctor advises starting moving while still in home isolation.
"It is important to act gradually. If possible, walk 4-5 thousand steps, walk up the stairs (if you don't meet anyone), pedal an exercise bike for at least a quarter of an hour. Do regular exercises. The main thing is not to stop feeling tired and exhausted, " the expert concluded.
On the other hand, said Scotti, local therapists' task may be to develop programs that will track the condition of their patients after recovery, which should at least calm them down.
"From a psychological standpoint, fatigue can be associated with emotional decline, a sedentary lifestyle, and working from home," the expert said.
