Food Safety Agency reveals most common shortcomings in Azerbaijani kindergartens

"The most common problem we face in kindergartens is the storage of food and cleaning products together. Raw and cooked foods are also kept together," Shahla Yusifzade, an employee of the Food Safety Agency of Azerbaijan (AGTA), said while speaking about the correct organization of children's nutrition in preschool educational institutions and the requirements of regulatory legal acts in the field of food safety.

The AGTA representative stressed the improper storage of food products:

"Milk and meat products are stored together with unwashed vegetables. As a result, cross-contamination can occur."
