Experts reveal severe consequences of COVID-19

British and American researchers have identified the worst health issues for people infected with the coronavirus, Report informs, citing Mirror.

According to scientists, those who recover from COVID-19 may experience physical weakness, inflammation of the heart muscle, kidney damage, as well as "fog in the head" and urinary problems in the coming months.

Besides, they may suffer from heart attacks, strokes, and seizures. Some also complained that they could not return to work and everyday life for half a year.

The novel coronavirus (COVID-19) emerged in late 2019 in China’s Hubei province, and the virus has spread to more than 200 countries and territories since then.

On February 11, the WHO officially named the 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) as COVID-19, and on March 11, declared it a pandemic.
