Deputy health minister calls on parents to vaccinate children

“Some diseases have their roots in childhood years. With timely examination and treatment, future complications and deaths can be prevented,” Deputy Health Minister Rahim Aliyev said at the 5th All-Republican Forum of Azerbaijani Children, Report informs.

According to the deputy minister, vaccination is always designed to save lives: “Vaccines in childhood prevent future outbreaks of diseases such as tuberculosis and diphtheria, as well as seasonal ailments. Thanks to raising awareness among people, there is trust towards vaccinations. It is also because the importance of vaccines has been proven globally. Vaccines are trusted in countries with high levels of education.”
