Baku announces disinfection week, strengthening anti-pandemic measures

Under the instructions of the country's leadership on strengthening measures against coronavirus pandemic in Azerbaijan, Baku City Executive Power has expanded anti-pandemic efforts in the capital and declared a citywide disinfection week, Report informs, citing the structure.

Considering the current situation in the country regarding the coronavirus pandemic and rising morbidity, the relevant structures of the Baku City Executive Power carry out daily medical-prophylactic and disinfection measures in residential buildings, elevator cabins, yards and residential areas, sports and entertainment facilities, container yards. The first disinfection works were conducted in Sabail and Nasimi districts.

Over the weekend, the authorities are planning large-scale disinfection measures on the capital's main streets, avenues, and roads.
