Azerbaijan, Tajikistan discuss cooperation in healthcare

Azerbaijani Health Minister Teymur Musayev met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Tajikistan to Azerbaijan Ilhom Abdurahmon, Report informs, citing the Health Ministry of Azerbaijan.

The parties discussed the development of cooperation in healthcare, personnel training, and the organization of an opinion exchange between medical universities and health institutes of the two countries.

Teymur Musayev emphasized the existence of successful cooperation between Azerbaijan and Tajikistan in many areas.

The minister emphasized that Azerbaijan and Tajikistan have great potential for developing cooperation in the healthcare sector.

Ilhom Abdurahmon noted that Tajikistan attaches special importance to the development of relations with Azerbaijan: “Diplomatic relations between our countries were established in 1992. Over the past period, relations have developed positively.”
