Azerbaijan's active COVID case count keeps rising

Azerbaijan has recorded 2,102 new coronavirus cases over the past day, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told Report.

Meanwhile, 863 people recovered from the infection, and 15 patients succumbed to the deadly pathogen.

Overall, the country has reported 505,554 cases of infection, 479,675 recoveries, and 6,793 deaths since the onset of the pandemic. At present, 19,086 people are receiving treatment.

Azerbaijan has conducted 5,044,744 COVID-19 tests over the past period, including 12,189 today.
