Azerbaijan reports 1,178 new coronavirus infections, 24 deaths

Azerbaijan has recorded 1,178 new coronavirus cases over the past day, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told Report.

Meanwhile, 2,322 people recovered from the infection, and 24 patients succumbed to the deadly pathogen.

Overall, the country has reported 477,587 cases of infection, 444,053 recoveries, and 6,394 deaths since the onset of the pandemic.

Azerbaijan has conducted 4,790,724 COVID-19 tests over the past period, including 12,331 today.
