Azerbaijan, India agree on mutual recognition of vaccination certificates

Azerbaijan and India have agreed on mutual recognition of COVID vaccination certificates, Indian Healthcare Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said, Report informs referring to The Hindustan Times.

“At present, 96 countries have agreed to mutual recognition of vaccination certificates and also those who recognize Indian vaccination certificates of travelers fully vaccinated with COVISHIELD/WHO approved/nationally approved vaccines. Consecutively, persons traveling from these countries are provided certain relaxations as enunciated in Union Health Ministry’s Guidelines on International Arrivals,” the minister noted.

The countries that approve of India’s vaccination certificate include Azerbaijan, Turkey, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Russia, Georgia and others.
