Azerbaijan confirms 97 new COVID-19 cases, 3 deaths

Azerbaijan recorded 97 new coronavirus cases and 3 deaths over the past day, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told Report.

Meanwhile, 2 people recovered from the infection.

Overall, the country has reported 829,591 cases of infection, 819,117 recoveries, and 10,178 deaths. At present, 296 people are receiving treatment.

Over the past day, 1,432 tests were performed to identify new infections, and a total of 7,556,844 tests have been performed since the start of the pandemic.

At the same time, 246 people received their anti-coronavirus shots in Azerbaijan today. Thus, the total number of the vaccinated people reached 13,953,878.
