Azerbaijan confirms 493 new COVID-19 cases, eight deaths

Azerbaijan reported 493 new COVID-19 cases, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told Report. 

As many as 561 people recovered from the infection, while eight coronavirus patients passed away. 

So far, a total of 26 165 people have contracted coronavirus in Azerbaijan, of those  17 256 have recovered, 334 died.

At present, 8 575  people receive treatment.

Azerbaijan has conducted 601,500 tests over the past period. Today's test number is 8,722.
