Perez confident about Baku weekend: 'I'm a bit more positive'

Red Bull Racing driver Sergio Perez is confident that this weekend’s Azerbaijan Grand Prix will turn out better than in Monza, Report informs via GP Blog.

"I think this [weekend] should be a lot better. I already felt better in the simulator, so I'm coming here a lot more positive than the last few weekends. Definitely Monza was very difficult. So I do expect us to be closer to the front than the last few weekends," Perez said.

"The confidence is high in this place, but at the same time I know that what you've done in the past, it doesn't matter. It's a whole new challenge and I really hope that I can find the right balance around this place, because you need a lot of confidence. And if I'm able to do that then it should be a strong weekend," the Mexican driver noted.
