Georgian ambassador to Azerbaijan meets with GUAM Secretary General

Georgian ambassador to Azerbaijan Zurab Pataradze met with GUAM Secretary General Altai Efendiev, Report informs citing the Georgian Embassy in Azerbaijan.

The role of GUAM in international transport corridors was discussed at the meeting.

It was noted that the member-states are one of the main parts of the regional and international transport corridors and routes.

The parties stressed the importance of active steps by GUAM to increase the potential of transport corridors. Organization of the joint presentations was considered in order to increase the transit potential and to strengthen awareness about member-states of the organization.

The sides also discussed cooperation in tourism, joint tourism projects and tourism development among GUAM countries.
