"Azerbaijan is a popular destination for migrants, because security is guaranteed, multiculturalism and tolerance atmosphere reign in the country," Chief of the State Migration Service Vusal Huseynov said.

Report informs that he spoke at the plenary session "Migration, displacement and human security" held within the 5th World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue

According to him, figures also confirm this fact: "This is related to the long-term policy of the government. We have taken steps to develop tourism and investments in Azerbaijan. Migrants consider Azerbaijan as a place to settle."
