Vice Mayor: Visit of Gabala Chief Executive to Yokneam scheduled for November

Baku - Yokneam. 28 September. REPORT.AZ/ On November 6, Israeli town of Yokneam will host the delegation headed by the Chief Executive of Gabala region Sabuhi Abdullayev for signing of twinning agreement.

Report informs, Vice Mayor of Yokneam Roman Perez told the group of Azerbaijani reporters.

According to him, the delegation's visit was to be made in mid-September, but due to the preparations for referendum in Azerbaijan on September 26, the visit was postponed: "Then, most likely in the spring we plan to visit Gabala to sign an agreement on twinning."

The Vice Mayor said that Gabala and Yokneam are tourist towns, so they can share their information in this area.

R. Perez also reported that the city hosts a variety of activities related to Azerbaijan. He said that 250-300 natives of Azerbaijan live in Yokneam and they are quite active: "The evidence of this that I am a native of Azerbaijan and the deputy mayor."
