The International Organization for Migration (IOM) Office in Azerbaijan is conducting training on identifying victims of human trafficking in Ganja, Report informs.
The 3-day training organized under the Action Against Human Trafficking Project funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is attended by the representatives of police departments of Ganja (Kapaz and Nizami districts), Shamkir, Tovuz districts, the State Committee for Family, Women and Children, the local office of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection and non-governmental organizations working in the field of social services.
Vladimir Georgiev, Head of the IOM Office in Azerbaijan, and Lee Litzenberger, US Ambassador to Azerbaijan, are also attending the opening session of the training.
