The Ukrainian embassy in Azerbaijan has postponed receptions of citizens until April 24 amid the spread of the COVID-19 infection, the embassy told Report.

"Please send consular applications to the embassy's email address [email protected]. Call +994124412706, +994124494095 numbers for information during working hours.

"In case of emergencies associated with a threat to the life or health of Ukrainian citizens, please call or send messages to the embassy's hotline: +994502557518, +994502557505,".

The novel coronavirus (COVID-19) emerged in late 2019 in China's Hubei province, and the virus has spread to over 199 countries and territories since then.

To date, COVID-19 cases surpassed 700,000 globally, resulting in more than 30,000 deaths.

On February 11, the WHO officially named the 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) as Covid-19, and on March 11, declared it a pandemic.
