The Cabinet of Ministers has approved a draft presidential decree on Ukraine's withdrawal from the agreement on humanitarian cooperation of the CIS member states and the deal on the Council for Humanitarian Cooperation of the CIS member states.

The government made a decision at a government meeting on Wednesday, July 22, Report says, citing Ukrainian press.

"Due to the Russian Federation's armed aggression against Ukraine, actual cooperation with Russia has been suspended, whereas cooperation with other CIS member states is taking place in a bilateral format based on new and existing bilateral agreements," the explanatory note reads.

Moreover, Kyiv will conclude new unilateral agreements with the CIS member states: each such contract will be concluded separately with Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.

The Cabinet also instructed the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry to notify the CIS governing bodies of our country's withdrawal from the agreements mentioned above.
