Turkish MFA: "Normalization of relations with Armenia is carried out together with Azerbaijan"

"I would like to emphasize that the issues related to the normalization of Turkish-Armenian relations are being implemented in close cooperation with Azerbaijan."

The statement came from the Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Yavuz Selim Kiran at a conference in Shusha on "Azerbaijan-Turkey strategic alliance is a source of peace and stability for the Caucasus and the region," Report informs.

He stressed that today Turkish diplomats all over the world are proud to protect the rights of both Turkey and Azerbaijan: "The Karabakh victory does not only mean the reunification of Azerbaijan with its lands, or reunification of IDPs with their ancestral homelands. This is a great opportunity to establish peace and prosperity in our region.”
