Turkish ambassador thanks Azerbaijan for support after February earthquakes

Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Cahit Bagci thanked the Azerbaijani people and President Ilham Aliyev for their support in eliminating the consequences of the devastating earthquakes that hit Türkiye on February 6, 2023.

According to Report, in a post on the social network X, the ambassador emphasized that the Azerbaijani people, led by the victorious leader Ilham Aliyev, shared the grief of their Turkish brothers, and, uniting under the slogan "We are with you, Türkiye," provided support in eliminating the consequences of the natural disaster.

"May Allah rest the souls of our citizens who died as a result of the earthquakes on February 6, the 'disaster of the century.' I express my condolences and wish patience to their loved ones," the ambassador added.
